Up or down?

Im working on my spitfire mk v and im at the landing gear and im wondering if it should be up or down. I tend to do up, but....

Um always a difficult choice, I usually go 'down' as it gives more options for display and diorama potential

I've only built one model with the gear up and that was my recently finished Skyhawk. Go take a look in the air gallery as you can see the different angles that you can't achieve with wheels down. Wheels up works well if you've done a good job on the underside. However, I normally build mine wheels down for the same reasons as DC87. Also my DIY stand on the Skyhawk is ok but a stronger stand would be better and I don't see the point in buying a large pack just to use 1 or 2. So my personal advice with the spitfire is to do it gear down.
