How do you display your models

Hi everyone,

For some inspiration and ideas, I would like to know what you all do once your models are finished, as there are great threads on your modelling work areas, finished models ( with great photography btw ), do they go on a shelve, in a display cabinet, on your wife's favourite side board, or hopefully not, in a drawer never to be seen again, and also how do you keep your's from collecting dust, do you get the pinny on and feather dust them down...lol.

Mostly all in display cases unless they are too big. Luckily my stash of build kits isn't very big at the moment. No pics as I am at work currently... (He says quietly hoing the boss isn't on ISM)

Lol. Haven't gotany models yet I'm proud to put on display, but always nice to get some ideas for the future.

Thought I'd posted this, anyway, put these up in early January and transferred most of the contents my 8 four drawer plastic storage units to them.



However, don't like heights and lifting that malomine up there was dodgy. Just have worry about dusting them now.

Mine go into bespoke storage boxes (bespoke because I make them lol). I don't have room to swing a cat in this place, let alone display models.

Special ones (eventually all)will get special treatment

When we move to a decent sized house a few may get displayed.

I have this on the wall at the foot end of my bed. I also have some completed models tucked away in a cupboard above the fridge, and I have a lot in boxes at my summer house. I'm hoping to make some more space at my summer house so I can put them on display, it feels bad to have them just sitting in a box in a corner.

I put mine on any flat surface, the special ones find a spot atop my workbench.

Wow that MIG 29 Fulcrum is huge! What scale is that F-16? Very impressive shelves!

I've got two display cabinets in my living room to put my finished and WIP models in.
The big cabinet is for the big models, and the small cabinet for small vignettes and busts...
When I run out of space I could buy me another cabinet, but there is no space in the living room. No space in other rooms either, so ones in a wile I do sell the oldest models to make room for new gems...
