1/35 in armour, if by your question you mean the most popular scale

Sort of I like 1:48 in aircraft because normally they are 1 not bad priced, 2 just the right size for detail and what have you and 3 don't take up much room ( they tend to hang from my sons ceiling). I guess what I'm asking is there in armour and others some sort of middle ground my son wants me to do a tank or something and the enterprise and again I don't want them to take up much room but still have a bit of detail and a little bit of size to them. But having never done anything like this just want to know the scale of middle ground models if that makes sense.

You can get some nice armour in 1/48 scale now.

As for Sci-fi I dont know as most of the star trek stuff is still quite large.

That's good to know he is also wanting me to do a boat buts there is no way thats going to happen as we have no room for one. Well that's what I'm telling him and I'm sticking to it lol

Hi,if you want to build a boat or ship Dragon and Trumpeter do some nice 1/350 scale modern and WWII destroyer,s, they roughly measure around 12 to 16 inche,s and are nicely detailed. If it,s 1/48th armour then Tamiya is your best bet or Hobby Boss , whichever you choose best of luck with it, Dave.

Airfix have got at least 2 1/72 scale boats, they are small motor torpedo boats and aren't very big.

Yeah, Tamiya now do an ever increasing range of 1/48 vehicles, which are reasonable in price and size. But 1/35 is the most popular armour scale for sure.
