tonight's update
added undercarriage and built radar dome

really enjoying this build, Hasegawa are such good models

Started the decal marathon on the Hawkeye

I really like the US carrier aircraft, lots of colour (or is it color) and types

Looks great, I love the older USN schemes with the bright colours, adds a bit more interest than the lo-vis stuff.

Graham how did the decals behave and what decal softeners did you use

decals were good but very thin, managed to rip some of the larger ones
I use microsol and microset solutions which work well
