Poor excuse for a stash

As new may know I new to the modelling hobby, so I thought I would show my poor excuse for a stash, three for them were bought today...lol

Hopefully it will grow and prosper and get built...lol

Looking forward to getting stuck in and building them, just waiting to get my loft done so I have a nice warm place to do my modelling, started in the garage, but here in scotland its far to cold to do it in there all year round.
There are loads of models out there that I would like, but like watching the reviews lee and paul do to get a better understanding of the model itself.

Your actually in the stage that is the most fun.. clean slate kind of thing.. there is nothing quite like adding to the stash.. most of us are in the stage where we have too much in stash and miss the days of where your at.. enjoy it!!

A stash starts with one, then two... a little soft music and dimmed lights, leave them their privacy and before long, they over take the household I started my stash with the I53 with kaitens, didn't do much until I got me a couple of WWI MKI (a male and a female) they are fornicating like crazy Due date couple of weeks...

Thats not a poor stash... It's pretty decent.
With budget restraints its hard to build a good stash for me, but I will get there.
Love the bikes, would love to build one some day.

Really itching to get them built but trying to get the loft done, I have decided to try and by myself a model every month or two, or maybe get something in the group builds or sigs if it take my fancy.
One thing I'm sure of is I know the stash will get bigger.......just don't tell my wife

I wouldn't fret too much on the size of anyone's stash. I've seen stashes (that continue to grow) where there is not a hope in hell where the individual will be able to build them in his/her lifetime. Now we can argue they are there for trades, selling for exorbitant amounts on fleebay etc... or simply giveaways to fellow modellers.

Although my stash is growing after 3 months, each acquisition has been acquired within a theme (Top 10 tks of all times and top 10 as of 2013). 11(mix of maritime and armour) on hand with 9 coming and 6 left to order. I made myself a list and search for deals.

But we all do it for different reasons and one should maintain their individual comfort zones vice envy

Funny you should mention that as I was thinking of getting one, the tamiya 1/350 yamoto......think thats what its called.

Ooooh the Yamato, cool choice. Now yuz going places No seriously, take your time and stash what is significant to you. Stray away from the cool factor and not only will you be happy with your stash, you will be able to afford what you really want. If that makes sense.
