Thank you! I'm especially pleased I could take a couple of photos of Gabreski's aircraft on or by the actual airfield that the original flew from some 70 years ago.. I doubt very much he'd recognise my model as an image of the real thing though, had he been around to see it..

Thank you very much, Lee and Ian I have looked at a lot of photos of Gabreski's P-47 at various stages and they all show a comparatively clean and little worn aircraft.. I guess as the leading Ace in Europe he wanted to keep his Jug in good condition, so that's what I decided to depict..

(plus I like my aircraft that way anyway! So I guess the same goes for Eileen!)

As for my brush skills, I seem to be going through a 'nothing works' stage again.. still having trouble with my V1... sigh..

Never mind, it's only a hobby.. s'pose to be relaxing, right??
