Newbie here.
I've seen some awesome models in this gallery!
I've put my latest build up here and would like
to hear what you guy's think of it.
It's a Panther Tank with winter camo.

Again, great job on the weathering, this time you've gone all out and weathered white wash. I like how it turned out.
I haven't done a great deal with the winter camo and I always enjoy looking at someone else's work.
Those look like the DS tracks. How did you pin them down?
I've never much liked them myself, at least not for the Tigers or Panthers. The track sag is always a little tricky.
I normally switch out with Magic tracks if they're the newer ones or Fruilmodel.

And yes, they are DS Tracks they're not great, there's no detail at all on the inside.
I pinned them down with super glue.
It's an old Tamiya kit. It was all Rubber tracks back them. I bought it of ebay for a good price, but this is the downside.
But other then the tracks I love Tamiya, beautiful details and good proportions.

The Panther is one of my favorite models. But I don't like camo paint jobs.
Unfortunately the Panther only came in camo's. No AK and no field grey. (As far as I could trace)
So I love to cover up the camo with a winter camo.

Ah yes, I'm familiar with those ancient Tamiya rubber bands. Dragon's DS are much nicer, but still don't allow for sag.
Even still yours didn't turn out bad at all.
I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Hi Markus,

It's an old Tamiya kit.
The colors I applied are acrylics from MODEL AIR for the ocre and green basic camo and acrylic white (diluted with some water for more transparancy) for the winter camo from Revell. And finished with some pigments from Valejo. For chipping I use dark grey enamel paint from Revell.
