Looks great!
For the AK Heavy Chipping Medium - do you apply it over the base coat? do/should you put down a layer of gloss or Klear first? How is it different than the hairspray technique? Or is it the same?

Cheers!

Very interested to see how you make the Zimmerit with it! I've seen a Mr. Surfacer tutorial/attempt, but never miliput.

If you can give a step by step/tutorial, that would be fantastic!

dude your zimmerit looks great! of course atak looks better but it costs 20 euro per kit! first time own zimmerit? epic result! if you aren't satisfied with it you can conceil it a bit during the weathering process! zimmerit had a magic attraction to dust so if you dust it a little bit you can hide minor mistakes! or you could use foliage! i can give you a link for good 1:35 foliage! the wirbelwind was assigned to heavy tank groups for mobile air defence! especially in normandy the tigers and the wirbelwinds were camouflaged with a lot of foliage!

this photo is good inspiration

here you go =) the stuff is excellent! you get a big box! the box lasts for a couple of months ... you can do several dioramas and tanks with it and it really looks badass! be quick now! it's available at the moment but that's not for long! the stuff is hard to get http://www.dersockelshop.de/gelaendebau ... /-200g?c=3

oh one thing :D if you are already on the homepage take a look at the other stuff of mk35. they offer great natural grass for dioramas at a good price as well as other plants for groundwork! they also have great resin figures at a good price and really nice vignettes or diorama stuff! i love this company!

Nice work Hendrik!
Dude that turned out pretty cool, the paintwork is really well done.
Those Pz IV frames are annoying to paint with all the nooks and crannies.
Then you add that Wirbelwind splintershield and the interior... Whoa... pain in the ass.
You managed it really well.
Great try with the zimmerit too. As I'm sure you know now... that's a pain in the ass too haha.

Nice build mate

Got the same problem with my Italeri pz4 g sink holes, bit bigger than your Dragon:)
The way i dealt with it was to file sections of tracks with a round section file, aimed to get a look of wear marks where the track links would get in contact with the support wheels of the tank.
You can check the result in my tread, some of the latest pictures, see if it will work for you. Is relatively fast but i guess some significant paint job will be required afterwards.

Hope this helps :)

Cheers!
