Hi All,
I saw this when browsing the model shop and really liked the unique paint job, so I bought it and its on the bench already.

First up, the cockpit. I'll let the pictures tell the tale, but this is my first time at detailing the clocks and controls since I took up modelling. I dry brushed a lot of it with Tamiya flat aluminium, then added a little colour. I'm impressed by how effective dry brushing was at picking out the detail. I didn't get too carried away though as much of it cant be seen with the cockpit lid on.

Great detailing of the instrument panels et.c.. :) :) Should look a gem when it is done!! :)

My son built that version a couple of years ago, but used the kit decals on the Revell Tornado:

That looks awesome Robert! Your son is gifted :thumb2:

I'll be very happy if the paint job turns out that good.

He builds far better models than I do.. but is currently having a break from the hobby, unfortunately.
Hopefully he'll get back into it at some point.. :) I will let him know you liked his model.. :D
