I am pleased to announce that I can join the BB. :cheers2:
My beloved wife (Mrs Dunhill2005) gave me this kit yesterday.

At the drive sprockets were some cutouts closed. They had to be recut carefully with a cutter 8-)

On the Lower Hull there is not so much to see now...

Ive got the same kit. Arent those sprockets wondeful! LOL. Little fit issue at the back of the hull also when you get that far. Lots of flash all over this kit to clean up actually.

It's sunday afternoon. Time for an update :hi:

Yesterday I assembled the rollers and suspension. The rubber bands of the rollers were handled with rough sandpaper and a cutter to simulate a used look. After that they were primed black.

I have also completed the running gear.
In my opinion the tracks are a bit too long. They have a loose fitting on the rollers :
I also primed all black.

The back plate is almost completely assembled too. It was not nice to build it. Bad fitting...

The E22 part had to be slightly offset, otherwise the Part D and the "Jerry can holder" would not fit.
E25 is in reality D25.

Last update today...

As long as the lower hull dries,I start with the turret. The cannon, upper and lower part of the turret fit good.
Also the toolbox on the backside. But the tool boxes on the sides are horrible. Nothing fits.
Large gaps and sand a lot ...With the right side I was then satisfied but not with the left. :wall:
I will later put a camo net on the box so nobody will see this crap.

Welcome to the club! You've made great progress, nearly as fast as Paul, lol! I see you're having the same fit issues I had with those stowage bins, what a PITA! I also thought about the cam net over the back, but now I've got the main paint job done it doesn't look quite so bad. I'm undecided as to do it or not. Anyway.... You're doing a great job, good luck with the rest of it! :th: :th: :th:

I have assembled the turret completely and then I have attached a camouflage net.
I left the hatches, air con and the optics free.

Wow! Never seen that done before, very good idea! Is it something you've used before? Great progress mate. :th: :th:

Just incase, that panel on the side isn't aircon, it's a combat ID panel. Just for info. :thumb1:

Really looking forward to seeing some paint on that lovely smelling camnet!

I would paint the oregano. My opinion is, without color it looks in a bit too wooden.:
