Tamiya 1/48 De Havilland Mosquito FB Mk.VI - Build Update #3

Post by UKguyInUSA »

Hi Guys,

Since my last build up-date on March 9th, I managed to get a few hours in yesterday and today on my "Mossie", and so below is a link to my YouTube video for your perusal, if you'd like to take a look.

All sub-assemblies have been done and painted, except for a matte clear coat or two, and so, I'm ready to start the major assembly, putting the cockpit into the fuselage, assembling the fuselage halves, assembling wings onto the fuselage and then she'll be ready for a paint job! I'll post another up-date video when all of the major assembly is complete, before I prime and paint her.

Please feel free to comment, constructive criticism is most welcomed...it's the only way I can learn to make changes for improvements, and, if you haven't already subscribed, please do so, so that I can be apprised of your latest video postings!

Thanks in advance for taking a look!

Cheers, :cheers2:

Martin

Thanks, History! I was nervous about going too far with weathering and ruining it, especially with it being my most expensive kit to date and only my 7th build. I love these Tamiya kits, the fits of the parts are excellent!

Cheers,

Martin
