windex use

Post by ozymodeler »

Hi guys, has anyone had any experience with using windex mixed with water as either a thinner or an airbrush cleaner, I watched a few videos on youtube and some people say it works very well. I will be using tamiya acrylic paints by the way. Any feedback will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Windex works great for cleaning out/stripping Tamiya acrylics and Future.

Thanks for your prompt response. I was getting excited then because I thought I could use windex diluted with water to thin my acrylic paints.

It is great at thinning both Model Master and Tamiya acrylics.
