Re-scribing

Post by ApachePrincess99 »

I have been practicing some scribing with my UMM-SCR01 (Love It!!) and have made some mistakes along the way. I would like to fill in the new lines I made and re-scribe them. Being in experimental mode, I have used Vallejo Plastic Putty, CA glue and am in the process of using Squadron White Putty. Can someone throw me some tips on what is best. To me, Vallejo PP is too soft and CA glue is too hard.

I do not want to throw the piece out and I want to learn from my mistakes.

Thanks,

Iv re-scribed over both Perfect Plastic Putty and Humbrol Filler, The PPP is a bit soft and the scribber dipped into join lines which can be seen in top of my B17 from the bombers GB, with the Humbrol stuff I had no trouble at all, I left it to dry over night to harden and took perfect to the scribber.

I hope thats of some help
