1968 Dodge Dart

Picked this kit up the other day to build (not sure why I picked up one when I got 6 cars in my stash) while I wait for paint to show up to move ahead on my other builds..
Its a 1968 Dodge Dart 2 in 1 kit from revell. Think i'm going to build the drag one.

Clear parts and the red tail lights.. The clear is not very good its like someone haul sandpaper across them.. have to see what I can do with them if anything..

And the Tires.. I wish they find a better way to make tires..

Just a little update on the Dart
1 Tire and wheel together

4 wheels and tires together some sanding done

The engine (426 Hemi) is coming together..

Its not a bad kit.. Mostly what I build are Mopar and all I drive is Mopar

Just a little update.. The floors and under side is painted front end and rear end installed

Another little update..
The tires don't really fit..



But its a easy fix.. just get the plasma cutter out and cut the quarter panel


Now they fit Just a little more sanding

The Motor is all built Added some plug wires and put on headers..





And a test fit to see how it fits in the engine bay..

Typical for racing tires...
Fit never without flanging the fender.

Well today the sun is out and its a lovely -5c so I decided to paint my Dart Here are a couple pics to show the color I picked..(Mandarin Orange)


Hmmm the quarter panel on the driver side looks like crap in the pic but it is real nice and smooth
