Missing part

So there I was working on my dragon 1/32 bf 109 kit #3223 then bam discovered a missing part. It is part of the cowling that covered the main part of the guns directly in front of the front windshield screen. I sent an email to dragon so I hope they come through. Besides that the kit is going together perfect. If dragon doesn't help me out I will be hitting you all up and hopefully someone has a spare sitting around. I will post an update Ono their customer service.

dragon's customer service is s**t to say the least
i have a marder III kit that is missing a complete sprue
i send a email to them with pictures.of the thing missing
i had a.reply.that they need my adress ,photo's of what is missing and a proof of purchase
but i got the kit at a modelshow so i don't have a receipt
and the kit was in the factory plastic seal so it was never opened
but that is about 6 months ago and still no reply on what they are going to do about it
i decided that i would solve it myself with after market stuff from voyager wich has a kit made in a 50/50 plastic to photo etch as a result
but this should.not be the way it is supossed to be
so my advice is to go and have a look at after.market parts to replace.what is missing
but i hope you have more luck with your situation then i had

Great this sounds like its going to be fun to deal with I guess I will start looking for aftermarket

Since there is a chance dragon will not come through I thought I would get a jump on finding an after market part. I have never look for after market parts so if anyone have a starting point for me that would be great. Here is what kit I have. Dragon wing tech 1/32 BF 109 E-7 Trop the part I need came from spru A part 1. It is the piece that goes between the upper engine cowling the windscreen. Again if anyone has any ideas for me send them my way.

Oh dear the Uk dealer for dragon is The Hobby Co and there useless, i enquired about spares for a tamiya kit and they never even replied to me. Where in the world are you

yes dragon customer service is a waste of space been waiting for the last 18 months for a turret part for a Sherman,

I've had no issues whatsoever getting replacement parts from DragonCare in the US.

I have gathered all the paperwork and pictures dragon requested. I will get them attached to my ticket and send them to dragon. I just hope it doesn't take forever. The model overall is going together very well. I guess I will continue and get it 99% done.

I just heard from dragon and they said the part should be here in 3 to 5 business days. So idiot does arrive it would have been 2 weeks from when I contacted them
