A good Putty for scale Modelling

I came across this type of putty thanks to 3 different Youtubers, this could be found in any automotive detail store or hardware store. I am in the US so I am not 100% sure if it looks the same in other countries. It is called Glazing and Spot Putty and it's made by 3M. It cost about $4 and this stuff is amazing!! give it a try and see if it works for ya!

Nice one Luis. I would never have thought about using this stuff. Any issues with shrinkage or drying time mate?

It does shrink just like Squadron putty and it dries in about the same time, but the difference is (besides the fact that you get about twice the amount for the price) is that it sands a lot easier and gives you a smoother finish than Squadron and Tamiya putty. Some swear by it and some othets say that is the same. To me, its a great putty, specially for wet sanding.

wear a mask while using it... and sanding it...

if you wear a MASK you will be OK !!!! i am pretty sure !

it stinks to High Heaven thou.... My wife loved the smell but didn't like

But since Bondo is something associated with the States, I'd like to mention something this side of the 'pond'

Trek works was the one that turn me into using it. But you are right, if you put large amounts or thick amounts it will crack. But that also happens to me with squadron. Lol!
