Help with resin

Hi everybody hope some one can help just starting my p38 for the dday group build.
Never used resin before what's the best way to get the parts of the cast blocks.

Please be aware that resin has major health warning! Do not inhale this stuff when you sand it. There is a good resin video in the tips section here.
