Nice work streaking up that battered old bird mate
You're nearly there now so stick with her - I hadn't appreciated just how hefty the main gear was on those things.

Yes, the landing gear really looks stout! It's coming along nicely and you're just about there!

OK.
I’m calling the Condor DONE.
When I get a chance, I’ll take more images and put up my first thread in the members gallery.
Stay tuned.
So to wrap up the build.
The fiddly bits were indeed fiddly.
Of the remaining masked windows, two fell out (in). The upper front turret was a bit of a problem as it didn’t fit very well, much sanding and cursing. Just when I thought I’d finished I realised that I hadn’t removed the masking from the windows on the gondola on the underside, which then led to remembering that weeks ago I snapped the machine gun off. Hmmmmm. I then raided the Lego box to source a new machine gun. It’s a little bigger than it should be, but it looks ok. I think.
So, its done. Lots of lessons learnt. I don’t think I’ll do something this big again (for while at least).
Thanks for looking in, and thanks to those who commented and encouraged.
Your comments were certainly apricated as the big bird came to life and tested my patience.
Stay safe everyone.
-P

Yes, it looks like you fiddled the fiddly bits well. It came out very nicely! I can't wait to see more pictures.
