I love the work on the diorama base. Equal to the excellent work on the vehicle!

Excellent weathering mate, looks great all over but those tyres and hubs are next level.
Figures look good too. I'm really impressed with Masterbox, beautiful detail

Tomcat's 1/35 Bronco Humber Mk II - Build Part XV

Well thanks to the three day weekend in the UK I've managed to get this one in just under the wire
Build Part XV
Here's the final update - the PE sand channels were bent into shape, primed, undercoated in Black/Brown and had a varied topcoat with the light stone I've used on the vehicle. Wear & tear was added with more of the black/brown and they were attached with a couple of short lengths of Tamiya 0.5mm cable - the instructions say to do this with stretched sprue which sounds like it could be a challenge
I also added a little more stowage in the shape of a couple of jerrycans pilfered from the other side - straps were made of 1mm masking tape
Here's the other one down the front
And finally this baggage down the back
And the figures were painted mostly with Vallejo Model Color & GW washes
I added a blob of PVA to the ends of the binoculars to try & simulate the lenses
And that was everything done - just one final note there are a LOT of leftover parts in this one. Most of the frames had one or two bits leftover but these were virtually untouched (and actually the one part I did use from frame E was I think a mistake due to the bad numbering in the instructions).
I don't have a spares bin as such but I'll be taking a look through and seeing if there's anything I want to stick in the box of random stowage bits I have.
So that's it done - thanks as always to everyone that stopped by and offered encouragement on this one. It was definitely a complex build and there were times when I had to step away and come back to it fresh but I'm very happy with the end result.

Thanks mate - I wasn't sure if the jumper meant the officer was being a wimp or slightly mad, or the squaddie in shorts was a Geordie
