That Moskva is definitely interesting!!! Does one build it afloat? Or at the bottom of the Black Sea? The latter option would make one hell of a diorama.....

A Ship of the Line - 1799 to 1830
A Destroyer - 1932 to 1941
A Helicopter Carrier - 1965 to 1996
A Guided Missile Cruiser - 1995 to 2022. Originally named "Slava" it was renamed when the HC was taken out of service..
The model looks to be the Helicopter Carrier of the 1960's - same as the old Airfix kit. So the dio would, unfortunately, be inappropriate.

I'm thinking hard about getting their weathering pencil set. I use a couple of their colours already and can the the potential of using them for a proper weathering job.
They are completely undoable. A pencil eraser will remove it. I think its great when a manufacturer goes the extra mile and gives you a booklet to go with the product so you can get the best out of it. Get yourself a black one and try it out. What sold me was the booklet AK put out showing all the different techniques you can do with them. Really amazing.

I wouldn't say totally different from watercolour ,but AK say the wax pigment is the latest and greatest technology. Andy's HHQ review of the new Tamiya 1/35 Chaffee. Please bare in mind Andy is a vendor and a kit manufacturer, he wants to sell kits. However, I find his reviews unbiased and he often does full build reviews as opposed to the virtually useless in box review.

Agree, I could really go for a smaller type modern warship in a big scale. I think a big ship in big scale would be too much for me.
