Oustanding work on the tanks and crew! Love the relaxing setting, particular the tank commander sitting on the turret swigging french wine. Work of art!

Absolutely stunning work Geoff!!  :th: :th:

I've been following this one and have loved every bit of it. The build quality of the tank is first class, the stowage and extras are incredible and the diorama so far is fantastic - very natural and as someone else commented, it flows really well. For me though the figures are just out of this world. Each one just seems to capture a separate expression and tells its own story, whilst contributing to the whole scene.

Great stuff!! :cheers2:

Many thanks Rossco, it's getting near now, Mr Postie delivered my grass tufts I ordered from FoG this morning so after shopping to day I got on with it.
But first a couple of pics of the cobbles tool I made from an old brush, for Coen, well it was an old makeup sponge/brush thingy, I pulled off the sponge off the ferrule and with a pair of long nosed pliers made a square shape out of the circular open end.

Now back to the dio, I continued to glue the various shades and length tufts to the base, there are six different sets of tufts used for this, then I dusted the road and path with a dusty MiG pigment, then fitted the figures in place.

I just now have to fix the Locust in place and I think it is done.

Thanks Shane, I always think the little details make it look right, the unit flashes by the way were hand painted.

Incredible work Geoff, very well done!! :th: :th: :th:

The tank and figures are just amazing - it's all the other bits as well that just make this stunning - the brickwork, the coping stones, the gate, the exposed cobbles, the composition.

From my point of view, as someone who is relatively new to this hobby, it is an honour and a pleasure to have people like yourself to learn from.
