Aye, do an RTR tank then you can give them the black overalls. Is it RTR that have a skull and crossbones badge?

RTR have a WWI tank on their badge, the QRL have the 'or glory' skull badge.

Ahh, I knew it was one of the tank regiments who had the death or glory badge.

Ok so back at this after being inspired by nigel wells. cheers nige :thumb2:

I detail painted anything that needed doing and then highlighted all the raised areas with a lighter tone of each base colour and dry brushed it on. I then clear coated the entire thing with alclad aqua gloss and gave it an dark black brown oil pin wash.

Once dried i gave it a matt coat with Ak interactive's ultra matt which is awesome stuff, the best matt I've used imo. and this is now ready for a filter (not 100% convinced i need one so may skip it) and then an oil dot filter :thumb2:

Looks the nuts Paul!
I agree with you about the filter, the dot filter will obliterate it most likely anyway. After you do the dot filter and it still looks too stark (I doubt that it will) you can add one to tone it back.
The dot filter is going to make this thing sing dude!

So back to this, its was dot filtered then i gave it a light weathering using just Ultimate light dirt with a little Ultimate concrete mixed in it. I airbrushed this on where i wanted it (on a matt coat so no going back) and left it be. I used the photo below as a kind of inspiration with he build and the dio base i built tonight. :cheers2:

Oh yes!!! Like that a lot!!!! :th: :th: :th: :cheers2:

Beautiful paintwork and the dust/dirt effects are just perfect, especially on that base! Gotta love those washes - all of my models have at least one of them on at some stage!
