Thanks Guys
It's all about the amount of clutter. F I can busy the place up enough with crap, junk, garbage and stuff I'll be ok with it.
The trouble is... I have to scratch build all of it. That's hard work.
A bit mojo stealing and difficult to plan out.
I have some ideas though so we shall see.

I have just read the whole thread and I can say that the M1 and M2 are looking very nice. The paintjob is great to see.
Now the rest of the figures and I will be a big diorama, good luck with painting!

That is some awesome work! Really love the composition and how it tells a story. Great work!
However there is one small detail that stands out to me as a bit odd. It's a really small thing but it caught my eye immediately. I'm guessing nobody else has thought about it and it's not wrong, just odd. It's the guy wearing the blue and white checkered keffiyeh, as I'm guessing he's supposed to be a Islamic terrorist/fighter. And a blue and white keffiyeh symbolizes Judaism and would probably not be worn by a Muslim. So just a small detail that most people most likely won't notice but I just thought I would inform you and anybody else interested. Really don't think it detract from the build. it's still a great diorama.

For the record, as a Jew... there exists NO Keffiyeh that symbolizes anything to do with Judaism. It it culturally only muslims who wear them, and the different colours symbolize different sects and beliefs.
Traditional black and white keffiyehs became associated with Fatah. Later, red and white keffiyehs were adopted by Palestinian Marxists, such as the PFLP. The color symbolism of the scarves is by no means universally accepted by all Palestinians or Arabs either.
This is taken from wikipedia - you should research the Keffiyeh, it's got quite an intriguing history!
Palestinian national symbol
Yasser Arafat in his iconic fishnet pattern keffiyeh, 1974
Traditionally worn by Palestinian farmers, the keffiyeh became worn by Palestinian men of any rank and became a symbol of Palestinian nationalism during the Arab Revolt of the 1930s.[4][5] Its prominence increased during the 1960s with the beginning of the Palestinian resistance movement and its adoption by Palestinian politician Yasser Arafat.[4]
The black-and-white fishnet pattern keffiyeh would later become Arafat's iconic symbol and he would rarely be seen without it; only occasionally would he wear a military cap, or, in colder climates, a Russian-style ushanka hat. Arafat would wear his keffiyeh in a semi-traditional way, wrapped around his head via an agal. He also wore a similarly patterned piece of cloth in the neckline of his military fatigues. Early on, he had made it his personal trademark to drape the scarf over his right shoulder only, arranging it in the rough shape of a triangle, to resemble the outlines of historic Palestine. This way of wearing the keffiyeh became a symbol of Arafat as a person and political leader, and it has not been imitated by other Palestinian leaders.
Another Palestinian figure associated with the keffiyeh is Leila Khaled, a female member of the armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. Several photographs of Khaled circulated in the Western newspapers after the hijacking of TWA Flight 840 and the Dawson's Field hijackings. These photos often included Khaled wearing a keffiyeh in the style of a Muslim woman’s hijab, wrapped around the head and shoulders. This was unusual, as the keffiyeh is associated with Arab masculinity, and many believe this to be something of a fashion statement by Khaled, denoting her equality with men in the Palestinian armed struggle.
The colors of the stitching in a keffiyeh are also vaguely associated with Palestinians’ political sympathies. Traditional black and white keffiyehs became associated with Fatah. Later, red and white keffiyehs were adopted by Palestinian Marxists, such as the PFLP.[6]
The color symbolism of the scarves is by no means universally accepted by all Palestinians or Arabs. Its importance should not be overstated, as the scarves are used by Palestinians and Arabs of all political affiliations, as well as by those with no particular political sympathies.[citation needed]

You don't have to beat it Kev, it's not part of the competition bud. I'm just building it as part of the Gb for fun.
I don't enter for the prizes. Lee and Paul know not to count mine.

There are a tonnes of things wrong with the entire piece Jon
A colour blind terrorist would just fit in nicely with the inside out Abrams tracks, the Pepsi machine from the 70s, the wrong kind of buildings, incorrect uniforms and weapons.
I don't think that I'll be building anymore modern era pieces for some time. They really aren't my forte and I don't really enjoy building them. I'm just not a modern armour lover.

Ok, wow this is modelling
The scene is so well set up and creates a very visceral reaction for me...as though I am looking at the real thing
I can't even imagine how adrenaline rushed I might be if put into such a scene for real
A question:
Is the dude in the red with the dog helping the American troops by pointing out the two bad guys or is he drawing the troops into a trap?
I infer he is helping the yanks
I would think the attackers would let the convoy go by and attack from the rear.....see,I do think it is real
Man, so well done

The mojo is back a bit now, I'm still dragging the heals a bit on it,mbut it's so close to being finished that I can't just leave it.
All those empty lifeless spaces are just so hard to fill. There's stil more that I need to add yet.
Scaleman wrote:Nice detail you adding there are those the boxes you printed from computer (I dont remember who made them) from the guy on YT.
I found them all on Google. I just went looking for the designs and then rescaled them to 1/35. I have a hole crapload of them.
I uploaded most of them to the forum but I can't seem to find them now.

I'd like to think that he's helping out, but he could just as easily be hindering.
He'd be a really special kid if he was the former.

As per usual Mike your work is top drawer.
My only "bad" thought on this is just the positioning of the Abrams main gun. I can't help but feel that having your main cannon (which would be loaded, being in an active conflict zone) would be pointing into the open back of the Bradley. I would suggest angling the tanks main turret to the right a bit so that the gun faces past the Bradley, it might just help with the overall composition a little more.

Very nice details buddy ! Like the John Wayne touch in the film posters ...not a fan of flashdance , and even I watch The Fly and liked back then , now I laugh when seeing it again

movies apart , your dio real is looking great ! all the posters , garbage everything is just superb , keep going , as for me I will wait for the 'grand finale' !!!
