So yeah the last few days I've been quiet on the modelling front because I've been revamping my workbench/room, so I thought id let you have a look seen as you lot have already added yours



Still need to sort out the drawers lol



So much better now! Just need more paints to fill it all up lol

I know I've only just finished bringing everything back into my room about a hour ago lol, but I've got the WW2 GB to carry on with now I just wanted to sort the bench out it was annoying me never had enough room to do anything lol happy days now

Wow... both of these are great work spaces.
I loved Brummie's paint shelf. Gives me some ideas.
I don't have anywhere to put mine at the moment... at least no where convenient.

I have actually the luxury to have two workshops (one in the basement of my flat and one in the basement of the house of my parents).

Most of the time i use the workshop at my parents house, due to work and lack of time i can´t build models often in my second workshop.
Therefore i have only the pics of my main workshop, but the other one isn´t much different: A desk, a chair, tools and models

No, this is my air cleaning device when i´m airbrushing combined with an opened window it works perfectly. Acrylics are not that healthy to inhale so i try my best to avoid it.

Having two workshops can be annoying aswell. I always forget something in one of my workshops and when i need it its not there (and it is always an important thing!). Usually i forget stuff like brushes or knifes...

Im not surprised you need 2 workshops considering the number of excellent models you produce Micheal. I think you should have a third workshop so you can make even more models for us to envy over.

Im not surprised you need 2 workshops considering the number of excellent models you produce Micheal. I think you should have a third workshop so you can make even more models for us to envy over.

Love watching your builds on You Tube. Absolutely brilliant stuff and very inspirational. I have to ask though, the pictures of your workshop on this thread aren't from your You Tube vids are they?

The You Tube ones look dark and mysterious by comparison.

Thank you, i´m happy to hear that Its the same workshop, my second one never appeard on my channel "in action" so to say, i just showed it quickly in an update video. We changed a lot in the last months in this room so its quite different now. Usually its quite dark indeed but in the evening the sun shines right into the window, when i took those pictures this was the case.

Michael how many airbrushes do you have! I notice the boxes (the ones with the blue foam in them) on the shelf, I have the same airbrush I think.

I think there are 4 of them, two bottom fed ones which came with the compressors and 2 top fed one (one is not working because it fell on the floor and some parts got bent). All those airbrushes are from ROWI.

Hey i want to build my stuff on my own, thats the point
I´m very tempted to do the big tiger tank soon, i blame you for this!

Well here is my work area at the moment, its not much but it should be enough to get me started, thought about using my pc desk but there is too much in the way of keyboard, screen etc on that, so an old coffee table it is lol.

That's quite the box for that Aztec. Wow... I don't think that they don't do that anymore.
It just occurred to me... that white thing on the wall behind your desk... is that a radiator?
I'm just thinking that you might want to move your paint pots a bit... they're not soo happy with heat.

Nice setup you've created. I shall mirror what Coen said and advise against putting paint n stuff next to that large radiator, unless you use a log burning fire and not central heating in which case it's fine.

You shouldn't have trouble finding parts which have been devoured by the carpet monster with that glass table

oh and that is one sweeettttt airbrush box - almost looks like a hunting rifle set

Yeah I know its a radiator lol, but don't worry, by the time I need to use the radiator I'll be setup on another desk with the paints stored away from it.

The Aztec I got for xmas from my ex-wife years ago. You can still get them, around £160. Its a nice airbrush, gives good results but I always feel like I'm using a toy or a cheap and nasty one because it is so damn light. Made of resin and weighs nothing at all lol. When funds permit and I can get a new compressor I'll probably try and get a set with compressor and airbrush, something like an H&S Evolution or iwata Revolution. then keep the Aztec for volume work which the syphon feed jars are good for or just sell it and get more goodies instead lol.

I have an Aztec around here somewhere.
Didn't look a whole lot different than yours McLeod.
Minus the box. It did come with a dinky little compressor though that I thought was the bomb.
It was my first airbrush and suited me just fine for quite some time.
