After Neil alerting me to the fact about lack of certain munitions I grabbed these assorted kits on the boxing day sale.

Just hope the figures aren't over size.

I was looking for ferns everywhere. Ammo.
Will park that in the back of my noggin for next time

    The last couple days worth.

A couple dino possibilities for the figure build. These are wicked nice vinyl kits. And rather large.

    Image

    Image

Now I need to see if there are Aztec decals for this Enterprise C.

    Image

And the kit for the armored car build. It wont be USAF as I was thinking. The seller included a decal set and it has markings I want to do. So Army it is.

They appear to be packed in the ammo boxes as 2 separate items. The charge and the projectile separate in the one box.

Man digger, you always seem to find the neat and odd soft skin military vehicles, I like them a lot. There are so many other here with kits and detail items; love the rally cars too. I am intrigued by the vinyl dinosaurs as well, I may have to look into those. As for those Ucrainian help decals, I need to see if they come in 1/35 as they would look nice on my MI-24.

Been a while since I posted new stuff so I hope I don't duplicate anything, but here goes:

    DIE-CAST VEHICLES 1/18

I have Ferrari decals for the truck sides and there will be scratch details to build, it's B-I-G
    Image

1970 Chevy Nova, nice detailed engine
    Image

By Minichamps. Many decals were almost gone and mirrors missing, all fixed now
    Image

    PLASTIC KITS

Neat kit with figures and multi-PE spoked wheels
    Image

1/20 Brabham fan car, always wanted one of these
    Image

1/48 Horton Ho-229, has great details but heard it is a bear to build, we will see
    Image

THE ODD BALL TO BE DETAILED

1/18 Dodge command truck, thinking about my SAS jeep I will detail/rebuild this one too
    Image

    THE BIG ONE 1/16

This was my big Christmas present for Jarrod and I. Can't wait to get into it.
    Image

Some was for Christmas, others for my December birthday, and a few just because I could. I think I need to start building faster because I will never get them all done. Can't look at it that way, can we?

The last purchase, a marvelous and large kit (1/16 scale) from Fujimi at a very cheap price :

It's a shame to butcher such a nice kit  , no sanding work, no paint, gluing awfully the clear parts, etc. I begin to unstick the parts but the glue is very strong and i don't want to break anything. Slowly but surely i will make it and this kit will be build like it deserves! :thumb2:

I have that Countach kit still in the box (new). It is part of large series of kits made in 1/16 by Fujimi. The series also has stock and custom version of the Ferrari Testarossa, Countach, Ferrari 512BB, 84 Ferrari GTO, Ferrari F40, Porsche 959, Lamborghini Miura, Toyota 2000GT, Jaguar Bertone Pirana, Alfa Romeo T33, and a Nissan (Prince) R-380 racer. There may be more.

I started on the Toyota 2000GT only to find the plastic is strange; very hard but also brittle. Even after some scrubbing it did not like CA cement very well. The 2000GT had crisp mold lines but much of the desired detail was wanting.

Since I'll be building mine eventually, I will be watching your restoration with keen interest.

P.S. Looks like a lot of work to restore this one, good luck!

My mums brother flew in the centre seat of these in WW2.
        Terrific pick up.
This is in the furthest reaches of my stash. Bit of a daunting build as I want to do a better job than I'm currently achieving, but maybe in the next 2 years.

I was lucky - browsing evilbay for something totally unrelated and it popped up in the search list. So I though "Well I got the 1/32 Lanc to build in memory of Dads brother, it must be fated to build a 1/32 Swordfish in memory of Mums brother."

Undine was the first of the Royal Navys "U" class Submarines - the so-called "Short Hull" or "War Emergency" hulls. There were 3 construction groups of the "U" class boats, Undine was the first ship in the first group. This comprised Undine, Unity and Ursula. Group II comprised a further 12 boats and Group III another 36. Of the 51 boats 23 were lost in action.
          See:
          https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/British ... _submarine

HMS Undine herself was launched in October 1937 and lost with all hands after being attacked by German Mineswerpers in January 1940.

I went away for a few days visited a model shop or 2 and I think I was pretty good in just buying a few supplies. Mind you I wanted more ,but the shelves were empty. It seems wholesalers aren't keeping up supply.

1/20 F1 car. Comes with photo etch sheet, mesh intake covers, cloth like seatbelt.
Have ordered some JPS decals to complete it.

Last purchases of the week, the model car wasn't expected but the seller did a BIG price cut so i can't resist (and it's a nice car!) :

The VAB will be build with a 20 mm gun turret (if i can find it! it's a Blast Model set very rare) :

I picked up a few goodies.

The first is a stepped rod for bending PE.
                    Image

                    Second, is a beautiful chopper.

                    Nice buys
Lovely tools that will get used for sure.
I've looked at the chopper before and the RPZ tools one and I think I like this the best as the entire chopper bed can be turned to the required angle
very quickly and is possibly ( not used it so don't know for sure) less finicky.
The blade used has it one bevelled cutting edge or 2 ?
