Cost me $90

Oh and $5 for t-34 turret replacement.

and 60 for the landing craft usually about 100 retail.

Certainly plenty of practice involved in painting a boat load of figures.

My oh my that's a haul, lots of goodies

That landing craft looks superb as well, I may add that one to my wishlist

The Lcvp is a oldie, but it builds up well from all accounts.
Comes with all the soldiers and crew.

Cor...really like this. Shame I already have the bridge in resin.
The Churchill's were really under rated by everyone, including the Germans.

What can I say? I like Bristol F2B's. A lot. Standing joke in this house is if money was no object thats the fixed wing plane I would buy - rotary would be the Mi-24.

I begrudgingly bought a smaller version of the PE tool. I had hoped it would satisfy the itch to have a big one. One the first times I tried to use it, I found mine was too small.

I say begrudgingly, because I didn’t want to buy one at all. I wanted to make one. It was my excuse to buy a milling machine. I mean, why buy a tool for $150, when you can buy a bigger tool for 10x the cost. Then spend more money on aluminum stock and broken end mills to make a knock-off product, that in all likelihood would not be as refined. Not to mention the time and space investment.

But still, every time I see one of these it makes me drool a little. Then I look up milling machinery.

Well Joker56, I've never used them before, but the mold quality looks very crisp and well detailed. The figures come in many parts (heads, upper, lower torso's, legs, arms, and individual pieces of gear, etc.). I've read some positive feedback on these figures on another forum and when simply querying on-line. I'll let you know once I build them.

I really enjoyed my Italeri box car gunship, I hope you do too Krusty69. I have the build string in the forum if interested. It will show many decent photos of the real aircraft if it helps(?).

I have the FAUN Transporter in my stash so I'll be watching your build closely ForeverPlasticKits. Do you already have a Leopard or Marder IFV to place on it?

Not faster just more torque I invariably get paint settling into a glugy sludge and it really battles to
remix it.

Tried it yesterday - it worked well!! Only bottles that won't fit (at the moment) are the Ultimate primer ones. But I'm trying to think of away around the issue of securing those bottles to the carrier.

I used to do business with a firm called RR Services here in the UK - they were specialists in military vehicles from WW2 on and they carried out the restoration of the only surviving operational Churchill Toad - the flail variant. Was down there when they tested it - the flail could be pulled back over and behind the turret. They tried that a few times as well as the drum rotation with out the chain flails fitted. Then they tested it with them on. Briefly. VERY briefly.... As in the time it took to say "Oh Shi....." and disconnect the drive. They'd put a thick layer of straw down as a test bed and the flails whipped that up - together with the concrete underneath!!!

Not the usual plane one thinks of when thinking of the Pacific war and the Japanese.
Comes with a factory resin cockpit upgrades...very nice. Nice panel lines, but no rivets....
Also not a very large machine and the poor pilot only got a wind shield and not a complete canopy.


Painting this one might be stretching my capabilities.

A little metal plate with magnets and holders for soldering. Cool, well designed versatile tool





It has soft spring loaded parallel jaws to hold small diameter led wires for soldering

That looks particularly useful when doing a lot of solder work. All the clamps can be moved in any direction and the whole clamp
assembly can also be moved to whatever suits.
Good pick up and find.
