All the grand kids Xmas stuff arrived today, along with a replacement part for my Harvester courtesy of Amazon and all the way from USA...2 weeks early and a box full of old Modelling mags and this kit of a suicide plane.

Not surprised as the Russians don't tend to update equipment as often as in the west. There is gear being made there that has had no real change in decades. Yeah I was in shock at the price too as I had pre-ordered 2 and was forced to change that. Decided to see if there were any reviews for this kit and was pleasantly surprised to see not only a review , but it compared this kit to the older Tasca/Asuka kit. "In summary, this is an excellent kit that takes all the little things missing from the TASCA VC and adds them to give a very complete product. I did note the fit which, while it is very good, is not the precision fit of the TASCA kit if that bothers you.
I would highly recommend this as the best Firefly currently available in any scale and I hope that RFM offer M4A4/Sherman V variants and an interior variant as a follow on.
