Thank you
That is a rectangle of styrene glued on and then tissue paper with white glue moulded overtop to make it look like how he would wrap his packet up in his sleeve.

Scott-This is a stunning progress build! I am blown away by all the work/corrections/modifications you did. Also, the different skill-sets used like 3D printing and machining are incredibly impressive. The build looks great and you should really be proud of yourself for finishing such a complicated and demanding build.

IPMS Vancouver this weekend.
I don’t enter these kinda things, but last minute I panic drove up there with 30 min left to spare and entered the Coupe
I was way in the back bc I got there just under the wire

I am at the back of the table, but have a rotating base so it is easier to see my model from the other side!

Next time you get a load of nit picking from some guy who is full of their own self importance, ask them to place pictures up of their (often non existent) models and ask them (politely of course) to explain what level of expertise to they have in order to form critiques of other people's models.
Unfortunately there are quite a lot of arrogant and quite rude people on forums, FB etc.

The OP's American Graffiti Coupe looks to have come on really well from what I can see of it with the model show award. I visited Vancouver and Victoria on the island a number of years ago. Both very nice cities I have to say.
Coincicentally, I was playing a short video from American Graffiti that had the the car in it whilst playing Del Shannon's Runaway on my PC.

Nice, thanks a lot, I enjoyed this build.
Good to see you posting again.
Yes, in another thread you asked about the magazine attached to the same forum site where I had to block some guys
Some posters are great, some guys are jerks.
We weed out the jerks here, perhaps why GSM Forum is so small
