That's true UKguy! But these short-run kit makers tend to focus on 1/72 due to the reduced tooling costs associated with the smaller scale, so I suppose that's a factor.

Plus Model has provided some updates to their upcoming release of their 1/72 kit of the EC-121 Warning Star. They will be offering two different kits:

AL7010 EC-121 Warning Star, plastic parts from Heller plus resin engine cowlings (AL7009, 36 resin parts), photoetch sheet with antennas, and decals for 4 variants.

AL7011 EC-121 Warning Star Big Set, same contents as AL7010 plus sets AL7006 (28 resin + photo etch and decals for wheel bays), AL7007 (4 resin + photo etch for flaps), AL7008 (7 resin parts for tail surfaces), and an additional photo etch sheet for the interior.

I think this is aimed at the Gaza/Syria type of use and/or technical/terrorist but also has the added bonus of being 1/35 and a civilian car with lots of use there (even if you don't use the gas rockets) in dios and what-not for modern Middle East scenarios of different varieties.
