Wow, that's a lot of PE for a kit that size. Should be awesome, especially if you're lighting it too.Johno wrote: Sat May 18, 2019 9:12 am This will be my entry, pretty psyched for this, will be my first time doing photo etch, i also think i will try my hand at lighting it up too, should be fun.![]()
Later this year there is supposed to be a 1-100? Scale 2001 uss discovery being released that’sStokesy44 wrote: Sat May 18, 2019 7:25 am Question.
What do you have on your Sci-Fi kit wish list? What would you love to build that isn’t available?
For me it’s a decent size Death Star from ROTJ, I would love all that unfinished detail. Bandai make one but it’s tiny.
Or a hover carrier from The Avengers. Saw one made from an aircraft carrier kit but that is way beyond my sausage fingered skills.
I do like a good viper! Looking forward to seeing what you do with that one.Johno wrote: Sat May 18, 2019 9:12 am This will be my entry, pretty psyched for this, will be my first time doing photo etch, i also think i will try my hand at lighting it up too, should be fun.![]()

So, that explains my dizziness...Stokesy44 wrote: Sat May 18, 2019 7:36 am By the way, not rain on anyone’s parade but the earth isn’t flat, nor is it round.

yah after looking at reviews i saw the cockpit detail was seriously lacking, so was planning on just getting that PE set but when pricing it i noticed for 15 bucks more than the one set was on ebay i could get that and the engine/landing gear set in a bundle from the manufacturer, so i pulled the trigger.Stokesy44 wrote: Sat May 18, 2019 9:44 amWow, that's a lot of PE for a kit that size. I'm still hankering for Bandai to bring out a Tie Bomber - they've done just about every other variation but seem to have passed this one overStokesy44 wrote: Sat May 18, 2019 7:25 am Question.

I think your last line sums it up nicely mate - I enjoyed it for what it was at the time but can't say it was particularly memorable.Stokesy44 wrote: Sat May 25, 2019 9:05 am What do people think of 'Solo: A Star Wars Story', I saw it at the movies but missed chunks because I had to leave twice to answer the phone (job hunting at the time).
Not as good as Rogue 1 but still watchable IIRC
I'm glad Oblivion got a mention, I really enjoyed it, visually stunning and the music was beautiful. Loved Edge of Tomorrow but then I have a thing for Emily Blunt so what's not to like?Modelfreek wrote: Wed May 22, 2019 11:16 am Yeah, edge of tomorrow was ok. I just have
Trouble watching Tom Cruise with that Scientology glint in his eye. The other one
Of his that wasn’t half bad was oblivion.
