What a way for me to start my day.....in modelling mode after looking at this FANTASTIC diorama....and a Wittmann subjest,,,,your timing is impeccable !!
I have a half finished bridge dio here that I am now looking at finally finishing off thanks to you....British vehicle tho !!
Those figures that you used are amazing...great job AGAIN mate !!

I ended up doing a bit of solid frozen water with snow cover, a thing edge of just thick ice, and then clearish fresh ice. Hopefully to add to the appearance of wicked cold.
The water effects were very simple.
I added a bit of the clear crystal gel to make the ripples to the entire surface, then along the edges I added a thin mixed layer of the texture gel and the crystal gel. Once that was dry I added a very thin layer of the Woodland Scenics still water with a brush.
That dried surprisingly fast.
Then I hit the edges again with another layer of the texture gel for the thicker older ice.

Once all of that was dry I soaked the surface with white glue thinned with water and sprinlked the snow from Precision Snow and Ice with the included screen sieve all over the undisturbed ground and ice.

That would pretty much it.
I stuck a couple of trees in and hit them with the hairspray and snow and ice effects from Precision.
And called it done.

Those figures are mint! Great figures, great paint job! And The Panzer III is one of my all time favorites to begin with.

Do you use Hobby Link Japan at all? I use them ALL the time, SO CHEAP, most of the stuff I order (Acc, P.E, after market stuff, decals...) all has free shipping too! ...AND take paypal.
Trust me, I know your pain with the Canadian dollar. Worth nothing. it's infuriating, since we're a MUCH better country, all around, then at least the United States ... However, I do find the prices at my new LHS on the West Coast MUCH cheaper, with a much larger selection, which is due to cheaper taxes, and, the unfortunate truth, it's not at the ends of the world in Nova Scotia anymore

Everything was stupid expensive out there compared to everywhere else I've lived in this country of ours

Have you tried hobbyeasy in Hongkong. They don't have paypal set up, but you can just enter 0000 in the required visa card entry, use any old expirey date, then enter PayPal in the comments section......ignore the PayPal testing field. hit order and then they will within 2 days at most send a manual PayPal money request and your done.
The Aussie dollar has about the same exchange rate as the Canadian one I think.
They arn't great with sending shipping info unless you request it using their contact page.
Mostly I find Hobbyeasy cheaper than Luckymodel and Hobbylink an Hobby Search (and have more stock) after you take into account the freight cost.
I have used all of the above ( plus sealmodel) and I would buy 85% from them. However freight for me by surface mail for say

The shipping would most likely be the same as it would be from luckymodel or HLJ.
Not as cheap as Korea (theirs is subsidised so they get wicked shipping rates, hence all the "FREE SHIPPING" from them on Ebay.
Depending on the kit the shipping would vary, but for the average sized kit it normally costs $14-20 Canadian for the shipping.
I'll check out easyhobby and see what's what.
Normally I won't do business with anyone unless they use paypal, but if they'll do it like you said I might save some $

It occurs to me that these people in the Ukraine might be unknown to you.
They take paypal and I have had no problems in dealing with them. I find that the ICM brand is cheapest to buy here...much cheaper than Hongkong or Korea.....freight is close to the same as Hobbyeasy.....15usd 1kg 30 for 2 kg..fairly cheap is this age. The Horch and truck only come to 750gms.

As always...WOW!!!
I have a vehicle research question...is there any reason/ref to believe that his ausf N was on a "L" hull and not on an ausf M hull as some N's were? I have a Dragon N that's built on the M hull with the wading exhaust and am curious if that were reasonable to build as his tank.
