I tried the same techniques on 1:35 rifles, but it looks way better on this 1:9 bust.

Wow! If I had a confidence issue I would be digging a hole and hiding in it.

Absolutely incredible work as usual. Amazing just does not cover it. Great work.

Figure/bust painting is something I always wanted to improve in. This kit is highly detailed. I am enjoying your step-by-step!

I hope to squeeze out another update soon, just waiting for the name plate to arrive. And life is getting in my way lately, making it hard to model sometimes. Stay tuned!

As Promised, the final update is here.
It's a small one, because this bust is nearly finished now.
All that is left to do is to paint and add the main gun.

That Browning is painted in olive drab, then I gave the barrel a good rub with AK steel pigment.
I painted the front of the barrel brass like the real one would have.

Painted his hand witch was tough to do without touching the barrel...

And finished his other hand...

And that round up this build, I'm heading over to the reveal section now to put the final result there.
I hope you liked this build, and I hope I could show some tricks to you.

Maybe i missed it but wich brass paint did you use
I am still looking for a good brass for stuff like shell casings

It's not brass but Bronze I used.
Mixed with a drop of gold.
Both are from Andrea colors.
