I tried the same techniques on 1:35 rifles, but it looks way better on this 1:9 bust.

Wow! If I had a confidence issue I would be digging a hole and hiding in it.
Absolutely incredible work as usual. Amazing just does not cover it. Great work.

Figure/bust painting is something I always wanted to improve in. This kit is highly detailed. I am enjoying your step-by-step!

I am still looking for a good brass for stuff like shell casings

It's not brass but Bronze I used.
Mixed with a drop of gold.
Both are from Andrea colors.
