Alright fellas! I tried my best with the basic ground work. It's still in the beginning phase many more detail will be added!

I used mixes of static grass garden rocks flower stems ( for the trees) and mixes of oregano and chamomile flowers( smells delicious!)

Here some pics.

I will add some water in the little ditch I made, some dust from the tank and some ends and odds.

Here some mock up with the tank

A1 Matt.....my suggestion would be to give that hedgerow some density either side of the M5 and really go for the punch through affect with the hedges.....lookin good :th:

Alright fellas time for another update

Had time today to finish the diorama!

I added two different type of moss, rose sticks to mimick trees and some more features to enrich the hedge row.

I'm pleased with the look! I hope y'all like it I tried to give it the look of "punching tru" let me know what ya think!

I'm also debating weather to add some stowage on the back of the tank, your opinion is appreciated!
Here few pics!

Sticks added

Superb dio Mate. First class. I love the fact that its a compact scene, perfectly evocative of what it was like.

How brave those tankers were, fighting in the Bocage against dug in opposition. Words can't describe it.
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

Thanks a bunch mate means the world to me

That's exactly the feeling I was trying to recreate an almost claustrophobic sense of the unknown behind that thick line of trees and leaves where you could find either a corn field or the Elysian Fields

Really cool Matt, I can hear the hedgerow being ripped apart just looking, good job sir :th: :th:

Hope you don't mind but can I suggest you get hold of some Seafoam as it makes great looking branches to glue to real sticks then cover them with herb leaves (dryed oregano stuck on with hairspray) and then give them a spray with greens and browns.......my last vid posted on YouTube shows a tree done this way......IMO they look a lot better than using lichen........also rubberised horsehair makes great undergrowth when teased apart and can look like bramble bushes too :th:
