Hi Ian and thank you much appreciated, l think you are bing very hard on yourself. Thank you, I only use de-ionised water to thin my paint, I found that tamiya paints where to think, I personally use Vallejo model color, lifecolor , and more recently AK , MIG but they don't need thining, that's the way I personally paint it's probably wrong but it the way I do it. Props on the dusty look too, I don't think I've ever tried achieving it myself, I'm too fond of the mud-bathing tank, and the idea of trying any other way horrifies me a little.
