They're all really close aren't they - number one looks slightly more orange, as Fridgy already said number two is a touch deeper. This is definitely one where you need to go with what you're seeing with your own eyes, as the colour balance on the monitors may be slightly skewing what we're seeing.

I have to say though - that yellow is really eye-popping :)

Great tidy work as always though mate
Cheers, Neil

Thanks Neil,
I have looked at the yellow in her and though ‘You Know, that ain’t half bad’
It is not my favorite colour on cars though, but the red is so over done.Hmmm m  :

Joined the lazy Bstards club today and modelled all day as it was pouring rain day
Made floor mats, got leather painted, interior detailed and car clear orange, and now first red layer drying

Dash, steering wheel and door cards done.
I have a ton of Ferrari aftermarket stickers and decals and such. Great to rob from it and boost the emblem details up a notch

Now in a red dress, she is loooking pretty hot :D

Now I think all of you will agree that the following is all Lysus’s fault.
He has not been around to patrol me and guilt me when I buy kits. Have not heard a single “no new kits in 2018” at all in January. That’s was his motto last year. So tonight he MADE me order this:
Image
Shameful really. He just isn’t around to stop me from my lust for a yellow Ferrari Enthusiast Fujimi kit.
My wife on the other hand is gonna Kill me :D  ;) :wtf:

Looking great Scott you've really pushed on with the build. Thought for a second you had changed your mind and painted it yellow.

Ref: the new kit.
Just tell the wife its for one of the kids birthday or she can have some new shoes or handbag that normally dose the trick.

Really nice work mate - that's coming together superbly.

As for Lysus he did generally say that anything bought for a GB or SiG was exempt from the "No new kits in <insert year>" rule so either way - yep it's definitely his fault and the "Lysus made me do it" defence is entirely appropriate.
Cheers, Neil

I was looking around for a "No stop it!!" meme, to show you how cool the build you are making is coming out. And also, one for the new kit you found, Then I remembered Jason saying "Lysus made me do it" after you mentioned it...

I found this instead. He used to put such funny meme's on here..

If your wife hasn't killed you yet, chances are she won't start now!

This one wouldn't look bad in yellow.

Ya, have drooled over those, just the entry price is a bit steep
They used to do 1/20 scale and now have switched entirely to the larger scales
Would love to tackle a GTO

Horrible rainy weekend here in BC, so I was indoors modelling like a madman
Wife is too smart for the shoes/handbag BS. My $300 money from selling a boat kit has more than run out.
I gave her that cash the second I got home and said I am buying new kits
At least it will take until the credit card comes in and she checks the bills and then murders me :shifty:

It is a shame that the depth of colors is so hard to convey in photos. I bet it looks stunning in person.

AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Managed to scratch the fender on a desk coaster and it looks like rocks dragged through the clear red. Have sanded back and will respray the fender :bash: :wall:

Been waiting for Gravity to send me one of the two supposed shipments they have sent.....it may be Canada Post, or maybe not.
Have been working at the little bits to have all the rest of the car ready to go.
This is zapping my patience with Gravity and my overall mojo.
Some exhaust pipes and chrome tips I made, the windshield dipped and the tail lights made up

You guys have seen me make polished aluminum tube chrome tips before.....it is one of my favorite things to do to a car

So, guess I wait for the clear to come.....
Do I start something else or wait : that big Zvezda Black Pearl keeps singing to me from the desk :shifty:
Or I could pop open an Andretti Lotus.....
