Hi added the bogies serial numbers using Archer cast decal set ( my firstt go using them but it won't be my last) I bet he thought I had forgotten them .

Broke model down to paint as getting brush in would be impossible as I only brush paint, all metal parts primed with metal primer .

To be honest I totally lost my modelling mojo last year after my eye problem and Photobucket didn’t help by wrecking all my build threads, so I haven’t been active on this forum for many, many, months
However, my boy has got in to building Warhammer 40K and asked me to help him paint some of his tanks and I think that’s kick-started my mojo, because I feel I want to build something again soon.
I have another an op scheduled in a couple weeks to rectify the cataracts (an unwelcome by-product of retinal surgery) then hopefully I will get back to some building, but I doubt I’ll post build-threads again.

hi pete, hope youre well.
this is looking better every time! i hope youre not sacking everything off once youve finished your stash!? ive been away from modelling for a good while now, various reasons, but im slowly getting back in to it. so, i can understand why you might be thinking about giving it up, all ill say is, dont make any absolute decisions, youre doing some outstanding work, that i really enjoy following. i dont have constant access to the internet yet, so i just get on here when i can, but i love seeing your work. fingers crossed youll keep at it.

Hi Rich nie to here from you and yes I'm stil in the land of the living, Have good days & bad one's and **** one's. As for sacking off yes that decison is unfotunately ont of me hands and the stash if you can call six models stash ?. I'm glad you like what I've done so far. I hope everything your end is settling down now and I see your back on the bench good to see.

HI on to the painting stage primed the vehicle as where the tracks.

Everything on this model is hand painted.







Got the main colour on and the detailed painting all done plus the tracks, blow are the paints i used.

It looks very good. The quality of painting is really awesome, considering you only used a brush. Have you ever used rattlecans for priming?

Any tips for brush painting? I'd like to do it more often but not sure about thinning, technique etc.

Hi Tommi, I can't I've have a major health issues so rattlecans are a big no no.
