Update, I am getting close:
The P2k is dry so I went ahead and stopped my MH-60s build and did some work on the Lotus so I could see how it looks. My detail parts also came in, Thanks
@Twokidsnosleep so I added some lines off the oil cooler and back of the gearbox. Turns out I should have done this prior to painting and gluing as I started making a mess

Life lesson learned........
I started assembling the body panels and sanding down all the mating surfaces. If I had o do this again I would build the body 1st and then paint. Lots of small parts and some that just could have gone on the body prior to primer and paint.
Here is a shot of the body on the chassis. That P2k Gloss black is really shinny but is a fingerprint magnet FYI
Here is the fully assembled body with those stacks on the engine. They were a PIA to assemble. Glued my fingers multiple times.

Thanks for looking &
Merry Christmas and Happy holidays to all

Little Christmas ISM forum break!!
Dang Murph!!! This is looking off the chart! (I know nobody says that anymore, but it was the best I could do stuffed with turkey and a little hungover...) In all seriousness, this is looking sick, man!! Can not wait to see the finished kit - keep up the killer work man!! Merry Christmas, too!

Final Update:
I had a chance to apply the decals. They were a lot harder than I expected. I figured they were a bit old and larger that I was use to. Some of the surfaces were tough to keep the decals straight and lined up

Oh Murph that is just lovely
They are a bit of a fight, but the Tamiya F1's do come out really nice

Came out looking good dude!!

I hate pinstripe decals - they are a real challenge (which is weird because they're small and thin, but are frustrating to get right).
