Thanks Kev, I'm not sure I'm converted it was more that I've been doing all one colour subjects and wanted something to keep my eye in. What I have realised however is that there are a range of Tamiya 1/48 vehicles that would fit in well for a diorama with an aircraft which makes it more interesting

It was fun following this build along. I may get some 1/48th scale kits just because why not :banana:
RangerNeil wrote: Sat Feb 29, 2020 11:18 pm Very impressive :cheers2: - I like the final outcome enough to consider 1/48 as well. Not a scale I usually look at.
thanks guys :bow::

Either way, it looks superb. Great build.
Hand painted and I tried with mixed results to make it look like 3 different men had been given a brush by the Oberleutnant and told to get on with it :lol:

Looks great - I don't think that there's any 'right' way to paint ambush (although I'm sure there are 'experts' who will say otherwise) and I think you did an amazing job on it considering it's 48. :thumb2:

I was excited to find a Tamiya Sturmtiger at my local hobby store. But I found I am also missing the small poly caps. Mind sharing where you found yours or where I might locate some? Thx
