I just joined a site called Precision Racing League. They have a series they run just about every night.
I joined the iRacing Monday night GT4 series. Round 1 was last night at Brands Hatch GP.
Running the BMW M4 GT4, I race for an eSports team called SRM - Sim Racing Madness.
Here is my car when I was practicing Sunday evening
I have raced on PS4 in Project Cars 2 for a little while, but moving over to PC is like moving from playing UNO to Texas Hold'Em in the WSP.
There were 64 registered but only 45 showed up... I finished (which was my goal) 29th, qualified 28th.
I did run as high as 21st but I had to pit early because of contact and a crash, and I didn't have enough fuel to make it to the end, so had to pit again.
I think had I not had to pit early I could've been easily in the top 20 (easy to say, I know), but when I got wrecked early (just a racing incident, nothing on purpose) I dropped all the way to 41st.

So was pretty pleased with 29th.
Brands is such a short track that when I came out after the first pit I had leaders coming through already. It's hard to push when you're getting the blue flag.

Heck no!! LOL!!!
This series runs 45 minute races... but iRacing has all different length races. Getting ready to join a series that does 3 hour races on Saturday. You have to have a minimum of two drivers for that, but there are up to 24 hour races that they do.
It's fun and I love racing but can't afford to do it for real (used to race motorcycles in my youth - but that gets expensive, quick, too) so this is a way to have some fun be competitive and meet some people. And if I crash or something real bad, I can rage quit and go watch Family Feud or something.
