Hi everyone.

A few slight advances.

I had to build the semi-circular pieces that hold the gearbox to the hull from scratch. These parts do not come in the model box and I think it is a great mistake. The pieces are not glued, checking the settings.

Very nice progress and work.

"none of the details will be forgotten" could be your motto!

I thought I was done with the gearbox but I have still added something else like the RPM cable, linkage connection and some texture to the front of the gearbox.

I have painted the Green Stuff World brand gray primer coat.





Then I have given it the base coat of Steel Gray paint from the same brand.

Very nice paint!

Wow! Holding it in your hand really shows just how big this kit is going to be. You're doing a great job!

I've been busy for quite some time with mounting the Panther chains. They came link by link that had to be released from the staples and sand and sand one by one and then glue two guides to each link !!! A tedious job !!



Not forgetting the burrs



Each pin that joins one link to the next also has its own little sanding job



But now I can go to an AC / DC concert with my Heavy Metal bracelet if not for the pandemic.



Finally the finished chain:



And painted with a first coat of Matte Black from Anmo Mig and a second coat of Old Oxide from the same manufacturer:



Finally the treatment with pigments of earth colors, powder and oxide for a more realistic appearance. The process followed is the same that Andy uses on his YouTube channel Andy's Hedquarters "Painted chains", it seems to me a simple and quite realistic process:







I would only have to apply a dry brush of polished steel color or polished metal pigment on the projections of the links that rub directly with the ground.

Very nice looking tracks! They're going to look very nice once they're dry brushed!

Thank you, you need to apply a little polished metal color pigment on the most protruding parts of the links.

In progress and on track looking better all the time. Certainly something to be said for going big.

Hello friends, after a long time I am here again with some updates.

The construction of the axle grease lines was very complicated and I chose to use different materials such as copper and lead.
