no photos but build done... I might get time to prime it over the weekend if I am lucky (son off to Uni Thursday so will need to gauge the mood in the house before modelling)

thanks all.. .NOW the build is complete (well apart from probably having to source replacement tracks - HobbyBoss ones just woot stick with anything (even heat!) - may have to resort to a staple!!!!

anyway, done some titivation this afternoon (better securing of the spare wheel, external support for the additional height at the rear and stowage (combination of Value Gear, Redog and AFV fuel cans). it does come out and is in 2 halves to allow for easier painting.

There is a trick to this. If you prime the track with TET or a similar fast acting cement wait for it to dry then apply CA it will stick like S***t to a blanket and you won't have a problem.

I have the same kit and just to be sure I glued them up using tet and Ca method and I was really struggling to separate the join afterwards....So you should be good to go. :th: :th: :cheers2:

Just caught up on all of this - that's superb work on the side curtains & windows, as well as the seat cushions & other assorted embellishments.

Great to see it finally in primer too - really looking forward to seeing how this turns out :cheers2:

green on - not 100% happy with the very dark on the bottom so may give it a quick blast of the olive drab base (pain is AK Interactive modulation set)... will be doing internal detailing next then it can be buttoned up... Wood is painted MiG old wood as a pale base to allow darker staining on top...

cheers, you wont see much when bolted up - to leave the side open would take some surgery I believe...

anyway cab is on - being held down by pegs and elastic bands and tape while the glue sets (I hope)... heading towards the end of the main build

When you finish - how about going for the 1:1 scale version??

https://milweb.net/webvert/a4998/99454

Might be a tad pricey though - £130,000
