Hi all

I hope as always, your enjoying a good old time in your neck of the woods and families and all keeping well?

Well its kind you ask :nena:

Not so good. After years and years of getting nothing really from NHS and this is due in part of Covid and everything becoming disjointed, I finally did something to rock the boat. I have for the last two years been weekly visiting an Ulcer Clinic and been batted around like the proverbial Ping Pong ball. About three weeks ago, I fell in the Garden, and laying on the grass, unable to get up and nobody about, I lay for three hours pretty well stuffed.......
My Mental Health has been taking an absolute hammering and eventually it was going to give. The pain and the Mental Health came to a abrupt screeching crash that weekend.
The Monday I rang my Doctors. First time I have rung them in three years. It took me to the proverbial "You are number 56 (yup, you heard right), in queue"
I waited and waited and finally, a voice answered.
"I would like to see my Doctor"
Receptionist, "earliest we can set that up is 4 weeks".
"Okay", says me. She says, "Why do you want to see Doctor"?
"I would like my legs Amputated or I don't think I can go on"..................................
Silence.................
"Okay" she says, I'll get Doctor to ring you".
Ten minutes later, Doctor, who I don't know, and I can guess she certainly doesn't know me, rings me.
Conversations had, and the flurry of appointments for Medical and of course Mental health appear out of ether, it is incredible. I have never been a lover of Strong-Arm tactics but this time, instead of meekly knocking on doors, I have knocked, and then when door opened, chucked a Grenade in.
I don't enjoy it, but it is getting me some help.
Mrs DW is obviously scared and worried but is backing me to hilt on this. We will see where it goes, and on the Mental side, if you don't see so much modelling posts, you will be correct. My MoJo for Modelling is a bit knocked and despite popping in and out of M/C, im having trouble concentrating on stuff.
Im here knocking about, but you may not see posts so much, as I need to get my Noggin and Body sorted.
In the meantime, all my love and best wishes to all of you, stay safe,
DW (John)

Damn!!! Thats a hell of a tale mate and NOT good reading. I'm glad you're - finally - getting the help you need in both the physical & mental fields. Concentrate on your recovery, worry about modelling when you feel up to it, not before. If you need to talk and not worry Mrs DW you know where to find me. Always ready to help a brother.

Awe crap.... life stuff sucks :( . I'm right behind you when it comes to chucking grenades. Sometimes it is the only way to get a satisfactory outcome. Squeaky doors and all that. If you aren't up to modeling that's fine, but would really appreciate you popping in for a look. Please keep us up to date with whats happening, we would all like to know how your traveling.
    :cheers2:

It's very pleasant and peaceful to follow your build and your way of life, unfortunately your health will take you away from plastic kits for a moment (i hope not too long). God bless you.

I've been trying to think of something to say. The best I've come up with is hold strong and get yourself doing better. Keep us updated.
