Decals applied from various kits to mark this vehicle (ficitionally, as as far as I know there was only every one) for the 2nd Panzer Division's 4th company, 2nd zug (squad), which would be an assault gun brigade as I think this vehicle would be used for similar purposes.

Now I only have to tone down the decals with some red and yellow pigments. However it still seems to be missing something, but I don't know what...: :

And to everyone else in this SIG, your work looks great! :thumb1: :thumb2: :th: Especially all you first-time tankers!!!! :D :D :D

I finished this kit up actually about 2 weeks ago, but I had "School" stuff to do so I was a bit stacked :D :D

So next up, to add a bit of interest, I added some Woodland Scenics 'Fine Left Foliage' as camouflage as seen on many panzers used in Normandy. Then I added highlights to the bushes with Citadel's 'Camo Green'.

On the vehicle like so:

I also added some highlights with various whites, beiges, and other lighter colours of the camo to edges. Light and dark grey drybrushing simulated light wear on the hull edges and tools. I painted over the tools and the round headlights with the camo pattern as this was a quite recently applied camo and usually the notek light was used instead as it was more discreet.

Plenty of pigments added to the exhaust cover to simulate heavy rust.

And she's done! It was a great kit to build, especially after all the Dragon kits I've been building recently. And yet, somehow, Dragon parts STILL GOT ONTO THIS TANK... Not a superb show-stopper result, but I personally like it for its quirkiness with the massive gun on such a small tank! :D :D It was also my first attempts at both a major modification and painting a 3-tone camo on a model, and I think it turned out really well!

I'll have pics in the 'Reveal' section under better (not orange) lighting. Bye for now! :hi:
