Very Nice work Paul. I'm very impressed with the engine work. I'm an engineer in the aerospace sector, and my current company happens to make a few of the engines for the F-16. Your work has inspired me to rush out and buy any of these models with detachable jet engines.

Oh Wow!!!
That looks really cool.
All that tiny tiny detail!
You best be investing in a pair a geek googles soon Paul if you're going to be building many cockpits like that one.
40 is just around the corner.
Kiss goodbye to the close vision

Lol i hope I don't need the goggles for a while yet ha ha, it's not as good a pit as the corsair being a jet it doesn't have as many knobs and switches, hopefully it'll look ok once all done

Ok so rather a large update with a lot of pics
So on to the ejector seat
All glued together, nice and detailed for a kit seat.
Primed in ak grey primer and the gun bay parts painted in tamiya flat white
Cockpit tub with nose weight screwed In place it's a hefty weight
Gun bay parts in position.
Top fusalage halves glued together, needing a light clamp in one place. Also the canopy surround sprayed in mr hobby flat black.
Rear engine compartment sprayed in xf4 green
Ejector seat hand painted in various Vallejo model colour and citadel paints.
Given a light wash with thinned xf1 black airbrushed over
Decals applied and Test fitted in position as it can be taken out whenever
I also toned down/removed some of the Ultimate concrete wash I applied on the consoles last time.
Front instrument display and cowling all painted up, dry brushed and details picked out.
Decals applied to clear parts and stuck in position, I can see in the photos some buttons that need touching up
Over head shot, looks much better now i toned down the wash
Shot showing size against tamiya paint pot
Tail pins glued on, this allows the tail to be removed for transport
The gun bay fully painted in flat white, ready for some light weathering.
Lower halves of the wings in place, fitted like a glove.
I'll also show this in my build update segment in the upcoming ISM news show

Cheers mate the f16 is actually a small jet, something like an f14 is way bigger than this, the wash is about 80-20 thinner to paint, you need to spray enough to just let it pool where you need it otherwise it just makes everything slightly black.
You can see me using the same technique in part 1 or 2 of the ism tech vids

Hey tiger, yeah ill fix the links later on tonight, i deleted a photo bucket folder by accident lol.
If its the ones in the first lot of pictures then they are micro brushes, tiny brushes ideal for cleaning your airbrush

This will be a stunner Paul!
Crap have to get those Alclads...Amazing finish with that stuff.
The gunmetal looks ultra realistic and with the dry brushing it was spot on.
Sad it had to be tucked away under the panel...
