WOW... that was fast!
That lighting really shows off that anti-slip too.

That anti-slip looks magic mate. I am going to have to get me a short stiff brush for doing mine.

Colour looks good too mate. What did you use in the end?

:cheers2: Cheers boys, I used 50/50 desert yellow and buff in the end, it's going to get a lot dirtier though, I'm over the moon with the non slip , it's well worth the effort I think

The build so far looks great so far bud!! That anti-slip is really popping out and appealing to the eye.

My only question is:
Is that the original barrel from the kit?

Thanks nov It is the original why do you ask???

It looks like an aftermarket or scratch built barrel, with all the folds and the tie-downs around the barrel cover. Really nice detail for a standard Tamiya kit.

Thanks Dc I remember a thread about being happy with your finished model and have to say when a lot of the guys say they are never happy i can understand, I have messed about with this model so much to try and get it perfect in my mind that it has become obsessional, to that end I have posted pics earlier than I would have liked but I have to draw a line under it, I'm pleased with it but my skill level prevents a true representation I hope you like it
