Hey guys,
I was wondering what glue do you use for putting in place diorama debris. I mean debris like bricks, wood parts, wire. If I use CA glue it would take like forever to put all the things together. If I use white glue I'm afraid it will show when it's dry.
Cheers!

Hey, thanks for the info. Your dio looks fantastic. Just to be sure

the pva glue is the same as white wood glue, right?

I use watered down White glue for the small stuff like sand or dirt particles, unthinned white glue for the larger bits like stones and bricks. I try not to use Ca glue as it breaks down with all the porus surfaces and loses its strength. Pva or white glue is more elastic and lasts for decades until it gets wet.
Another excellent glue for things like figures, or trees and bushes is a product called Hob-E-Tac. It's a railroad adhesive that is really sticky dries fairly fast but remains flexible and stong.

Like Coen i use white glue most of the times
But when i put snow on a tree (i use a kind of natrium/very fine salt) i use hairspray and that work fine as it turns invisible when dry
I did with a railroad piece too but you would need a lot and your whole room smells funny for a while

Ya... like an old lady beauty salon haha.
I use hairspray a lot to attach snow to trees and dirt and dust to walls and other vertical surfaces.
But wow... the smell.

I have a not so smelly brand
It only stinks up the place for about a minute or so
But it works good for light weight stuff
