This is my entry into the Tiger I In honor of Coen build
This is my first tank build to

Looking good so far Rodney. I've got this one in the stash but wasn't game enough to do it. Glad that others weren't quite so chicken.

I do the same thing Rodney. It took me ages to develop the habit of taking photos while I worked. I still forget all the time though.
I eventually had to set a timer on my doodad to tell me every 20 minutes into a build session to take a photo or two. haha.
A half dozen sessions and I had the habit... sorta.
Looks good so far.. You've got the more annoying bits done

Russ its not that bad once you get started I'm sure I got parts used that I shouldn't have used or didn't use parts I should have used but oh well and coen I mostly building while watching you guys on the hangouts so laughing at you guys don't help to remember to take pictures either

I got a fine bit done today got the hull glued together and got the tracks fitted PE grills added tow cables in place and I'm starting to get pretty good using tweezers


not sure why I painted them parts never going to see them but I know their painted


I think the tracks look pretty good thanks to coen's vids




Them little pieces to hold the tow cables on are fun

I always paint the in interior parts Rodney so you aren't the only one that suffers from that madness, haha.

Side I decided to add zimmerit to my tiger and the milliput finely showed up and yes its yellow not the white stuff but its working ok. It help's not knowing what your doing to Here is a few more pics


Think I have the turret all put together now just waiting on primer to show up


Oh I tried to do the PE lock on the storage box on the turret but its way to small and cant see it to bend the PE that stuff is tiney But I did try

Did some more work on the zimmerit on the hull today..I think its looks ok.

I also put the fenders on as well


Now I just got to add the zimmerit to the back now and yes I have all the little parts on it already so it should be fun

I know that I've said this before, but you've really done a fine job on the zim Rodney. The yellow milliput is much harder to work with and you made it look easy peasy.
A big well done on that.
You also did a really good job on the patterning. That excellent work

Well here it is painted with Vallejo dark yellow for the 2nd time I didn't like the colour that I used for the camo the first time not sure if its going to get camo this time..

I don't think that I can even count how many times I've repainted because of camouflage Rodney. You certainly aren't alone.
I think that you should give it another try bud. I liked the pattern that you had before.
