Hasegawa 1/32 Spitfire Mk. Vb

Here is my first modeling attempt after many years, it was meant to be a fully documented build but I got lazy, maybe next time
The subject was from RAAF 457 Sqn. operating in England in 1941, I'm an aussie after all, even though the pilot was a kiwi.
The kit was a quite old Hasegawa 1/32 Spitfire Mk. Vb, circa 1980's, and very simple only 3 sprues! I started it in late August 2014 and it was meant to be completed by late November 2014 for a good friends birthday... missed that. So I thought Christmas present for him... missed that too (just), so it became a New Year/late Birthday/late Christmas present
I hope you find it interesting.

And here are some of my reference images for this project.
