I must first apologise, as I've been a bit greedy with this SiG and its my intention to enter not one, but two models. Originally, I wasn't going to enter at all, but I was grazing through one of the well known modelling sites, can't remember which, when I came across this little truck. I've always liked the look of these flat-beds and as it was under 20 pounds sterling, I thought, what the heck - or words to that effect!

This is my first experience with ICM kits and I was very impressed. There was a couple of little issues, the main one being the fragility of some of the smaller bits and especially the thinner bits. But any breakages were easily fixed and you'll always get that to some degree, The only big gripe that I had was with the decals, these were atrocious. I think they must be made out of fairy wings, for as soon as they have any contact with water they split up quicker than Take That on a reunion tour! I tried everything I could think off, hotter water, cooler water, longer time to soak, shorter time to soak, but nothing. Still, no big problem as there aren't a lot of decals needed and luckily I had some generic US WWII stars that I used instead.

So here goes with my first truck.

Thoroughly enjoyed building this and decals aside, it is a very good kit that I'd thoroughly recommend.

Thanks for taking a look! :th:
