Looks like some work is needed with clean up, but you got it well in hand! The parts seem to have cleaned up nicely. The fuselage on these look fairly detailed and I like the body shape of these planes. I will look forward to your updates to see how they fit together. :)

Update

Primed up the cockpit parts and the fuselage using Vallejo's black primer and painted it with XF-71. Wings also now glued up with a lot of flash again and glued up the fuel tanks too. I will start doing some detailing tonight

Thanks Bill :th: I tried putting in the figures but I cant fit so I left it. So I did the most horror job of all on the raidens the CANOPIES!!!! :eeek:
not only the raised lines on the canopy is gone it had a very bad fitting too. Anyway I did manage to kill them and one canopy took an hour to mask up so total is 2hours :wall: aiyayayieeee

First canopy

Second canopy ( was in progress )

Both canopies glued to the twins after much swearing

Now the two amigos are ready for paint

Sometimes model building is a agony. They start to look good! Are you going to make them very weathered? ( classic look of these Japanese plane's) Good luck and have fun!

Gr Porta
Like Germans said in this branch there will not be wounded, only dead.

On the bench: Ta-152 1/48 HobbyBoss, Hawker Hurricane 1/48 Airfix (old tooling)

So after a long break I started it back by giving em a coat of silver and I manage to screw up the second one but it's repairable so stay tuned

I'll be applying maskol over the places that always have heavy chipping on it

So..... after leaving it aside for a longggg time I've decided to finish it before the dealine

The photos of the step by step of applying the maskol chipping on one of the raiden has mysteriously when corrupted so all photos of it are gone
Here is the photo of both raidens all painted up

Image

So once it's dried I used a stiff brush and removed the maskol on the raiden the second one will receive my normal sponge chipping which I'll do it later
